Kona Village Resort

The Kona Village has been a trademark resort of the Big Island since 1965.  In 2011 it was damaged by a tsunami and reopened in 2023.  Prior to the tsunami families fell so in love with Kona Village that if you stayed there it was not uncommon to meet people that loved it so much they had been there 20+ times.  It is hard to believe it to be possible, but the reopening in 2023 brought back the Kona Village with every aspect improved from before.  There was attention to detail put into each and every aspect of the resort and service.

With only 150 stand alone hales, the Kona Village Resort offers guests a true feeling of privacy.  Each hale truly offers a unique view and experience.  While most hale offer just one bedroom with a choice of a king or two twins, there are some options for 2 bedrooms and all the way up to 4 bedrooms.

For those that love food, the Kona Village Resort offers a true culinary experience.  From breakfast to dinner, there is an array of unique offerings.  Moana is the trademark restaurant offering Pacific rim cuisine on an oceanfront setting.
