The Kona Village Resort features 150 stand alone hales each truly offering a unique experience. Most of the hales have the traditional thatched roof look, but there are a few treehouse hales that offer a more contemporary look. Some feature a location grandfathered in directly on the ocean with a proximity to the ocean that you will not find elsewhere in Hawaii while others are located on a nice lagoon setting. The hales vary in size from 1 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms with most bedrooms offering an option of a king size bed or two queen beds.

All the hales are luxuriously appointed and offer a spacious lanai with a sitting and dining area. The bathrooms are spacious and offer dual vanities, a large tub, a large walk in shower, and a large outdoor shower.
